We hold yoga day retreats at The Barn each month, these have different themes. In the past we’ve had detox day retreat and raw food workshops, walking in the beautiful grounds of Netherton Farm. The format of the day retreat is to start with a yoga practice, followed by some beautiful fresh food, then a walk or workshop in between followed by a restorative yoga practice.
“My yoga day retreat with Jo was a lovely experience – a beautiful venue and a great bunch of people. I’m pretty much a beginner to yoga, but that really didn’t seem to matter – Jo explained everything really well and put us all at ease. The raw food demo with Fran at lunch time was really interesting and gave me lots of ideas – and eating the end product was the perfect healthy tasty lunch. The day finished off with a calming relaxation yoga-nidra session. I really didn’t want the day to end – it was just what my body wanted!”
