WEEK 1

WELCOME  | DISCOVERY, ASSESSMENT + PREPARATION

What you’ll learn in Week 1

  • ASSESS + DISCOVER - Complete Ayurvedic Dosha assessment to discover your constitution, your unique DNA and balance of 5 elements (Air, Space, Fire, Water, Earth)

  • Identify current imbalances and symptoms you are looking to address such as digestive issues - IBS, bloating or perhaps you've suffered an injury or have arthritis or eczema.

  • PREPARE - Your essential Ayurvedic shopping list of cupboard essentials including herbs and spices which we’ll use to cook but also make medicine.

  • PRACTICE - Learn to develop awareness of your body through breath and movement in the practice of yoga.

  • CONTRACT - Set your commitment to finding a healthier and happier way of life.

WEEK 2

Detoxification through DIGESTION

What you’ll learn in Week 2

  • How the digestive system works

  • How nutrition travels to the The 7 layers of tissues

  • Self Analysis - to help you discover and identify symptoms relating to digestive issues.

YOGA PRACTICE - FOR EACH DOSHA

What you’ll learn in week 4

Although we have one or two doshas that are most prominent, it’s important to know that all five elements are present and some might be more dominant or imbalanced than others at different times of the year, depending on the seasons, our lifestyle and diet.

FAQ’S

+ When does the course start?

The course starts on Sunday 9th June for 6 weeks. The course is designed to be completed over 6 weeks and I would recommend you follow this course in order to feel the optimum benefits to your health. However you have lifelong access to the course and can start and finish when it suits you.

+ What kind of food will I be eating?

Ayurveda is lifestyle. It's about giving up dieting and discovering your unique dosha. There are no set meal plans, it's about underatanding the affect and symptos you've been experiecing when you eat certains foods. Improving the function of your digestion and understanding how food can become medicine. It’s also not just about what you eat but also how and why.

+ What if I don't have the time to focus on this now

Ayurveda and yoga gives you time. However, that's ok. You get lifetime access! This means that you can go back and go through the course whenever you you need to. This also means that you’ll get access to all the updates information that will be added to future versions of the course. Bonus!

+ I have no experience of yoga, can I still complete the course?

Absolutely, there is no experience required. Any problems or questions you have I can help and support you through them.

+ What equipment / supplies do I need

A yoga mat can help however you don't need any special equipment. You'll be sent a list of food resources to buy in preparation however most of the herbs and spices will last for months for you to use during cooking and preparing meals and remedies.
